If some of you have unsuccessfully tried to read an article or use my hangout parser today, it was because I have replaced my server by a new one and migrated the data. This caused some downtime.

The new server features:

• Intel Xeon E3-1230 quadcore CPU with 3.2 GHz and HT
• 16GB DDR3 ECC RAM
• 4x 1TB Western Digital SATA Enterprise HDD
• Adaptec 6405 RAID adapter with BBU

This is some improvement, coming from a Core2Duo 6700 with 2.66 GHz, 8GB DDR2 RAM and a 3ware 9550. Also, the old server was running since 2006, so it was time to retire.
